For five years (2004-09) Scott Ott served as executive director of Victory Valley Camp, a Christian Children’s camp, where he used his two decades of experience in small business and marketing to tame the budget, improve the facilities, reduce bureaucracy, and streamline the customer experience. In addition, he led the board of directors to restructure the operation, and re-write the governance manual.

Father of four and husband of Stephanie, Scott teaches adult Sunday School at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown. In 2009, Scott narrowly lost his bid for Lehigh County Executive to a well-funded incumbent career politician who outspent Scott roughly 6-to-1. Since then he has been elected to a county-wide seat on the Pennsylvania State Republican Committee. He’s running now for the same reason he was running then, to bring stop runaway government spending, and tax hikes, and to make government more transparent and accountable to you.

Scott’s community involvement includes starting a nonprofit organization to rescue and restore an historic theatre, helping to protect victims of rape and domestic violence as a volunteer and chairman of The Abuse Network, volunteering to read with special needs children in public schools, and coaching boy’s basketball.
